A TOTAL of 55 stalls at various markets, food complexes and hawker centres across 14 locations under the administration of Penang Island City Council (MBPP) are available for rent.
MBPP councillor Tan Soo Siang announced that the application period, is open until the end of October.
“Applicants who did not register during the application period are not eligible for the interview session.
“The interview session for July application, will be conducted online on July 31.
“Those who are interested can register at ulesen.mbpp.gov.my,” Tan said during a press conference yesterday (July 15).
For applicants who have problems registering online, they can walk-in or contact the MBPP’s Licensing Department at 04-2638818 ext 307/308/309/310.
Applicants are advised to make sure that they have good internet connection to avoid interruptions during the interview.
They are also encouraged to check the audio and visual quality beforehand and to be neatly dressed in formal wear.
It is learned that, in June, out of the 82 applicants, 25 were successful, 40 were unsuccessful, and 17 were absent.
