A PRESS conference regarding the upcoming “Quo Vadis Malaysia?” lecture was held on April 13 at Jalan Maktab.
Bukit Bendera MP Zairil Khir Johari, who is executive director of Penang Institute, was present together with Penang Institute’s chief operating officer Tim Niklas Schoepp, its senior executive officer Ong Siou Woon, and executive officer R.Swarna.
A lecture talk on the topic “In Which Direction is Malaysia headed? (Ke Manakah Hala Tuju Malaysia)” will be held at Straits Quay Convention Centre on May 8 from 4pm to 6pm.
“The Penang Institute has previously invited a lot of notable speakers, leaders and former leaders to give lectures on important and intriguing topics. This time our speaker is no stranger to our fellow Malaysians as our invited speaker is Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad,” said Zairil.
Dr. Mahathir was the fourth Malaysian Prime Minister and he served as premier for 22 years from year 1981 to 2003.
There will also be an interactive session with the speaker himself so that the audience can ask any questions regarding anything they are curious about.
Zairil also added that admission is free of charge and encouraged everyone to come and experience the lecture talk for themselves.
