Amari SPICE Penang targets Q1 2023 to be fully operational

AMARI SPICE Penang is looking forward to operating fully by the first quarter of next year.

 

The hotel general manager Noorazzudin Omar said business has been good since the hotel operations officially started last month (November).

 

“Back in September and October this year, we opened the hotel just for the World Congress on Innovation and Technology 2022 (WCIT2022) and V-Malaysia 2022.

 

“We have opened 350 out of 453 rooms. We look forward to opening fully by the first quarter of next year.

 

“Our restaurant is ready, and we welcome guests to enjoy our culinary creations at our signature all-day dining venue, Amaya Food Gallery,” Noorazzudin told Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow when the delegates from the hotel paid a courtesy visit this afternoon.

Noorazzudin was accompanied by the Amari SPICE Penang sales and marketing director Doris Hor and sales assistant director Jessica Ng.

 

Noorazzudin said the hotel looked forward to opening the hotel’s Breeze Spa and D’ Observatory Sky Bar, early next year.

 

He added that the hotel received, mainly, corporate guests last month (November) and a mixture of corporate and leisure guests this month.

Chow was pleased to receive development updates from the hotel.

 

Among the topics which were discussed during the meeting were job opportunities, the turkey shortage, and the vibrancy of the hotel industry.
