It was Hui Ling’s first achievement in Sukma.

When approached by reporters at the UiTM Sports Complex in Shah Alam, Hui Ling was out of words to describe her success.

“This is my first Sukma medal and I am extremely delighted to have won the gold medal. I wouldn’t be able to achieve success today without my coaches’ guidance. They have been instrumental in my feat.

When asked whether she felt pressure during the match, Hui Ling swiftly said that she just did her best.

“I tried to perform my best and enjoy the game,” the soft-spoken Hui Ling said.

She hoped that she would be selected for the SEA Games in Cambodia next year.
