Assemblyman donates state-of-the-art smartboards to 10 local schools in Sungai Acheh

IN a move to champion education and technological advancement, Penang Trade, Entrepreneurial Development and Rural Development Committee chairman Rashidi Zinol has reaffirmed his commitment to fostering a conducive learning environment for students in the Sungai Acheh area.

 

The initiative involves donating state-of-the-art smartboards to 10 local schools, marking a significant leap toward embracing modern educational tools.

 

The donation also underscores his unwavering commitment to enhancing the educational experience for young minds within the local community.

 

During his speech, Rashidi expressed his vision to empower educators with the necessary resources, aiming to engage and inspire students while equipping them with essential skills and knowledge for success in our rapidly evolving world.

 

“I think using smartboards in classrooms can completely change how students work together, think critically, and be creative. It is like giving a boost to the way we learn with the help of technology,” he said during a smartboard handover ceremony at his service centre recently.

 

South Seberang Perai district education office (Education Sector) deputy director Md Radzi Abdullah was also present at the event.

 

Tech Dome Penang, represented by its chief executive officer, Khoo Boo Wooi, played a pivotal role in the success of this initiative.

 

Responsible for logistics and smartboard installation, Tech Dome Penang has been a key partner in bringing this technological enhancement to the forefront of local education.

 

The 10 schools set to receive the smartboards are SK Sungai Setar, SJKC Yok Eng, SK Sungai Bakau, SK Sungai Acheh, SK Permatang Tok Mahat, SK Saujana Indah, SJKT Ladang Transkrian, SMK Sungai Acheh, SMKA Sheik Abdullah Fahim, and SMK Saujana Indah.
