EXABYTES, Southeast Asia’s leading all-in-one Business, Cloud, Digital and E-commerce solutions provider, will be hosting its third instalment of the Accelerate Women Entrepreneurship with Exabytes (AWEWE) 2023, in view of the International Women’s Day 2023.
It will take place on March 28 from 2.30pm to 7pm at U.A.B Building in China Street Ghaut.
Exabytes Business Development vice-president Ooi Poh Yan said the event would enhance the digital capabilities of the participants’ businesses beyond local borders.
“The state Social Development and Non-Religious Committee chairman Chong Eng and her office have been supporting us in this effort as every woman deserves to be celebrated for their contributions to society.
“This AWEWE 2023 will provide an opportunity for women entrepreneurs in the country to learn how to expand their businesses internationally.
“We have worked our best to help aspiring women entrepreneurs turn their dreams into reality,” she said in her speech at the Exabytes office in Bayan Baru today.
The campaign, with its theme #WomenWeCan, aims to provide over 1,000 participating women entrepreneurs to grow and sustain their businesses online, learn additional skills and explore more possibilities in digital space.
Ooi said they had received positive feedback from former participants.
“It has helped women entrepreneurs to gain wider business exposure as well as boost their target market. We believe the Digital Toolkit, which is a specially curated package, will further empower women and enhance the small medium enterprises (SME) package,” she said.
Chong Eng said she was glad to witness a homegrown company putting in a lot of effort to upskill women entrepreneurs.
“We will support any form of activities that are beneficial for the development of the people in the state, especially towards women empowerment.
“I hope more other entities would follow suit to champion such causes in the future,” she said.
