THE Bertam Service Center, in collaboration with the Kepala Batas Unity Secretariat, has generously donated eight poly water tanks to the Kepala Batas Hospital and the North Seberang Perai District Health Office.
Each poly water tank can store 500 gallons of water, equivalent to 2,000 litres.
According to the official Facebook page of Bertam Service Center, four of these tanks were allocated for the water storage needs of Kepala Batas Hospital, while the remaining water tanks were distributed to Klinik Kesihatan Kepala Batas, Klinik Desa Permatang Sintok dan Klinik Desa Pajak Song by the north Seberang Perai District Health Office.
Bertam assemblyman Datuk Seri Reezal Merican Naina Merican handed the tanks to Kepala Batas Hospital director Dr Norhashimawati Abdul Mutalib and North Seberang Perai District Health Office’s Dr Izani Uzair Zubair on Jan 7.
Reezal expressed hopes that the joint effort would ensure that the health services are not interrupted during the scheduled water disruption from Jan 10 to 14.
