Bringing hope to Covid-19 patients

ONE Hope Charity has spared no effort to support the setting up of 19 canopies required for the field hospital at the Penang Hospital compound and donating drinking water, soy milk and biscuits.

Its chairman Datuk Chua Sui Hau said the pandemic situation in Penang is critical and therefore, the preparation works for the state’s second field hospital are in full swing.

“One Hope Charity has responded to the request of the hospital to sponsor canopies so that the field hospital could be set up as soon as possible.

“We would like to thank generous individuals for their donations. Combining the resources from the public, the donations are used in a timely and more effective manner, especially during the pandemic,” he said in a statement.

One Hope Charity sponsored 19 canopies this time. These tents allow medical personnel and frontliners to carry out their work taking care of Covid-19 patients in a better and more comfortable area without the need to worry about rain or shine.

In addition, One Hope Charity also donated food including 60 boxes of drinking water, 30 boxes of soy milk and 50 tins of biscuits for the medical staff and frontliners.
