A SOUTHEAST Asia leading cloud and digital solution provider, Exabytes, has launched the Sama-Sama Digital to help Bumiputra small and medium enterprises (SMEs) recover and sustain their businesses.
It is an initiative with Ekuiti Nasional Berhad (Ekuinas) through its corporate social responsibility unit called Iltizam.
Supported by Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), MYNIC and Bank Simpanan Nasional, the initiative offers two types of All-In-One Business e-Solutions – the All-In-One Ecommerce Solutions and the All-In-One Digital Solutions.
The All-In-One Ecommerce Solutions target Bumiputra SMEs that are without a digital presence. The package is bundled with an Ecommerce store, payment gateway, shipping, domain, email, basic design, and setup.
Secondly, the All-In-One Digital Solutions are for Bumiputra SMEs with an existing online presence and would like to grow their online businesses. Companies may choose from the solutions offered such as Google and Facebook ads, Microsoft Office 365, Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), Alibaba, email marketing, SMS marketing and others.
Exabytes founder and chief executive officer Chan Kee Siak said the company strived to maximise its efforts to upgrade Bumiputra existing business systems and strategies.
“Only 20% of Bumiputra SMEs are part of the digital economy,” he said in a statement.
In the same statement, Ekuinas chief executive officer Syed Yasir Arafat Syed Abd Kadir said companies are struggling to cope with the new realities as consumers shift in terms of the way they shop and consume.
Meanwhile, MDEC chief executive officer Surina Shukri was quoted as saying that MDEC supports Exabytes’s initiative in assisting digitalisation.
“The primary goal is to see more SMEs transform into properly digitally-powered businesses,” she said.
