TO equip professionals and entrepreneurs with the essential skills and knowledge to excel in today’s competitive business environment, a series of Business Tools Workshop is set to take place this month until August.
State Social Development, Welfare and Non-Islamic Religious Affairs Committee chairman Lim Siew Khim announced that the workshop will offer hands-on experience with crucial business tools, covering topics such as e-Invoicing and meta management.
“This event caters to a diverse audience, including new entrepreneurs, seasoned professionals, and business leaders.
“It aims to create a collaborative learning environment through networking and peer-to-peer learning opportunities, contributing to the growth and innovation of the local business community.
“The workshop is a collaborative effort by six Women and Family Development Committees (JPWKs) and three Penang Youth Committees (JBPPs).
“It is also supported by JCI Pearl,” Lim said during a press conference at Komtar today.
Lim also added that Digital Penang’s strategic partnership has been crucial to the programme’s success, in line with the Penang2030 vision of fostering an inclusive digital economy.
Apart from that, Lim, who is also the Sungai Pinang assemblyman, shared that the key objective of this workshop is to foster a collaborative learning environment.
“Therefore, we have designed the workshop to include numerous opportunities for networking, and peer-to-peer learning.
“This will not only enhance the learning experience but also help build a strong community of like-minded professionals.
“Moreover, we are committed to supporting the growth and development of our local business community.
“By equipping individuals with the right tools and skills, we aim to contribute to the overall economic growth and innovation in our region,” she said while urging professionals and entrepreneurs to participate in the transformative workshop.
The JPWKs involved in organising the programme are Air Putih JPWK, Pengkalan Kota JPWK, Komtar JPWK, Sungai Pinang JPWK, Batu Lancang JPWK, and Seri Delima JPWK, while the JBPPs involved are Air Putih JBPP, Sungai Pinang JBPP, and Seri Delima JBPP.
It is learned that early birds (the first 30 people) will be charged only RM5 for each session, which covers five different topics.
The workshop will kick off with a session on e-invoicing on June 26, followed by a Mandarin version of the session on June 29.
Then, on July 14, the workshop will cover the topic of XHS app usage.
Following that, on Aug 4, there will be a session on using ChatGPT for business and marketing. The workshop will conclude with a session on mastering meta ads.
