CM Chow launches new facilities at SJK(C) Chung Hwa 3

INTERACTIVE digital library, knowledge corner (medan ilmu), modern music room and state-of-the-art STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) laboratory are the latest initiatives implemented at SJK(C) Chung Hwa 3 in Perai.

 

An interactive digital library, knowledge corner (medan ilmu), modern music room, and state-of-the-art STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) laboratory are the latest additions at SJK(C) Chung Hwa 3 in Perai, enhancing the school’s educational infrastructure.

 

Penang Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow officiated the launch of these four projects today.

 

SJK(C) Chung Hwa 3 headmistress Goay Swee Kee revealed that the total cost for the projects amounted to approximately RM1 million.

 

“The new digital library cost about RM400,000, the STEM laboratory RM300,000, the music room RM150,000, and the knowledge corner around RM100,000,” she said.

 

Goay expressed her heartfelt gratitude to those who made the projects possible.

 

“On behalf of the school, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to the Penang government, school alumni, non-governmental organisations (NGOs), private companies and good Samaritans who have stepped forward to assist SJK(C) Chung Hwa 3 in realising these projects.

 

“I also wish to thank the Penang Education Department for granting the necessary approvals to carry out these initiatives,” she added.

 

Goay highlighted the importance of these projects in providing a conducive learning environment for the students, noting that such facilities would positively impact their development, benefiting both the state and the country in the future.

 

Meanwhile, Chow expressed his appreciation to all parties involved in the projects.

“Your tireless dedication and hard work have led to today’s achievements.

 

“I believe these advanced facilities and a conducive learning environment will create a healthy and ideal place for pupils to grow and teachers to excel in their work.

 

“By improving these facilities, we help create a better environment for students to learn and succeed in their studies,” Chow said.

 

Chow extended his highest respect and sincere gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of the projects.
