Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow this morning extended his invitation to Motorola Solutions to join the State in realising it’s Vision 2030.
”Motorola Solutions and all entities in the Bayan Lepas Free Trade Zone can join hands with us in our quest to make our city an intelligent and liveable one,” he said in his speech during a visit to the R & D facility the morning.
By and large, he commented factories in the state could leverage on the state’s initiative in expanding their manufacturing base, in line with Vision 2030.
”We welcome further investments by existing manufacturing plants and also new ones, who wish to make Penang their base,” he stressed.
The Chief Minister also hope the Federal Government will be able to extend more funding to Penang to help in realising it’s Vision 2030.
He also elaborate on some of the visions, while seeking everyone to work together in the 4P partnership with the state’s government.
Also present were managing director of Penang Operations of Motorola Solutions Malaysia, Solomon Lorthu and it’s Chief of Staff, Michael Loh. Joining him were deputy MD, John Andersen, director of customer operations, Friiscor Ho, head of finance operations centre, Sherman See and senior human resources manager, Mohamed Anwar Rahaman.
