DELL Technologies pledges to work with the Penang government to develop the state to be one of the key technology hubs.

Its Asia Pacific & Japan and Global Digital Cities president Amit Midha shared his input on how Penang could propel forward in the coming years, especially with the rising need for digitalisation.

“We look forward to collaborating with the state to lift Penang to greater heights as digitalisation is the future now.

“We can attract numerous talents from abroad to Penang, especially with the ongoing Ukraine-Russia tensions.

“We can rope in their talents to a safer place, which Penang can offer.

“Penang’s security and its environment can be a catalyst to attract talents here.

“I love Penang and it is one of the best places to live in,” he said after paying a courtesy call on Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow in Komtar today.

Amit also congratulated the state for celebrating its 50th anniversary of the industrialisation journey.

“Penang has played an important role in terms of the technology ecosystem, and we hope to see more remarkable feats can be achieved in the future,” he said.
