VOTERS should not underestimate the power of their votes as they are the real kingmakers who will decide the future of Malaysia after the 15th General Election (GE15), says Penang Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow.
Chow, who is also the Batu Kawan parliamentary candidate, said the voters should come out in full force to vote on Nov 19.
“On Nov 19 (Saturday), you will be the kingmakers.
“Thus, the voters should use this golden opportunity to change the political landscape of Malaysia by voting for Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalition.
“Let us vote wisely and choose Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim as the 10th Prime Minister of Malaysia by voting PH.
“Anwar has vast experiences and a proven track record as a former deputy prime minister back in the 90s.
“And he can surely lead PH coalition to bring our country to greater heights again,” Chow told a huge crowd during the Pakatan Harapan mega ceramah at Perkampungan Juru night market site tonight.
The mega ceramah tonight also featured several Harapan parliamentary candidates in the state.
Chow, the state PH chairman, urged the people to give their strongest support to the PH coalition by coming out to vote during the polling day.
“If we can have the highest voter turnout like in the previous general election, our probability to win is high and we could get a second chance to lead the country.
“So, we should all play our part by coming out on the polling day and voting for Harapan.
“Trust me, your vote can overthrow Barisan Nasional and Perikatan Nasional and we can rewrite the history of Malaysia once again and lead Malaysia to a better future,” he added.
Apart from Chow, the other Pakatan Harapan candidates who spoke were Steven Sim (Bukit Mertajam), Syerleena Abdul Rashid (Bukit Bendera), Daniel Abdul Majeed (Kepala Batas), Lim Guan Eng (Bagan), Nik Abdul Razak Md Ridzuan (Tasek Gelugor), Ramkarpal Singh (Bukit Gelugor), Muhammad Bakhtiar Wan Chik (Balik Pulau), and Sim Tze Tzin (Bayan Baru).
All of them also spoke with one heart that Anwar was their choice to become the 10th prime minister should Pakatan Harapan win GE15.
