THE E3 Capital Sdn Bhd, along with its partners, will hold the inaugural Penang Hybrid Conference in December, bringing together entrepreneurs from around the world, with a focus on women, youth and startups. The week-long event will promote knowledge-sharing, networking and growth.

According to E3 Group managing director Tan Chew Lian, the virtual sessions will take place from Dec 2 to 5, allowing participants to join from any location. This will be followed by in-person sessions on Dec 6 and 7 at the Masco Co-working Space, Prangin Mall, Penang.

“We will have distinguished speakers, from whom the participants such as women entrepreneurs and single parents, can learn about the latest technology,” said Tan at a press conference held at Komtar today, which was also attended by state Trade, Entrepreneurial Development and Rural Development Committee chairman Datuk Rashidi Zinol and other partners.

Tan also revealed that the organisers estimate a budget of RM500,000 to run the programme and are seeking moral support from the state government to secure sponsors to ensure the conference’s success.

eBizStart Project director MK Paul announced that the hybrid conference is expected to attract between 3,000 and 3,500 participants, making it one of the largest entrepreneurship gatherings in this region.

He said the conference aims to provide the participants with the tools, resources and networks necessary to thrive in today’s competitive market.

Rashidi expressed his pleasure at E3’s decision to hold the hybrid conference in Penang, encouraging further collaboration with other parties, including assemblymen, to benefit the people across the state.

The event will feature:

  • Panel discussions with industry experts
  • Workshops to equip entrepreneurs with practical skills
  • Business Clinics offering personalised advice and support
  • Networking sessions to build meaningful connections
  • A showcase of around 30 booths from sponsors and vendors, offering products and services tailored to entrepreneurial needs.

The conference will conclude with the Effectuators Nite Appreciation Dinner to celebrate the achievements of entrepreneurs and acknowledge the contributions of sponsors and partners.
