AS Christmas draws closer, the Seri Delima service centre, part of its annual practice, has prepared some 100 food baskets to be distributed to residents living in that state constituency.
Its assemblyman Syerleena Abdul Rashid kicked off the first round of distribution today (40 food baskets) to residents in Island Glades, Lengkok Bawah and Greenlane Heights.
“In a time of difficulty (Covid-19), festivals are deemed crucial to further strengthen our relationship with one another,” Syerleena said during the food basket distribution programme at Greenlane Heights Apartment in Jelutong today.
To avoid overcrowding, it is learnt that her office would complete the remaining distribution of food baskets in phases.
Each food basket consists of food and kitchen-based items.
