VISITORS to the Penang Digital Library @ Batu Maung (PDL@Batu Maung) and the STEAM Centre at the Southbay Plaza in Batu Maung who need a break can have their refreshment at the newly-opened Frank Laurent Coffee Roasters.
Batu Maung assemblyman Datuk Abdul Halim Hussain said it was a bonus for the visitors to the two centres with the opening of the outlet.
Abdul Halim said this when he officiated the opening of Frank Laurent Coffee Roasters outlet today.
Also present were Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Agro-based Industry Sim Tze Tzin, who is also the Bayan Baru MP, and Frank Laurent Trading founder Frank Ee.
Meanwhile, Sim said providing education is the greatest gift parents can offer to their children
“I fully encourage parents in the nearby community to bring their children to the Batu Maung digital library to generate their interest in reading.
“The habit of reading will be very useful in developing the children’s knowledge and moulding them to be useful citizens in future,” he added.
