PENANG Hill Festival is back again this year, from July 18 to 21, amidst a 130 million-year-old tropical rainforest.
Following the success of its inaugural festival last year and by popular requests from the people, Penang Hill Corporation (PHC) has decided to organise it again this year.
The events and activities to be held in conjunction with the festival will focus on its central theme of celebrating its nature, history, culture.
With such a rich and an abundance of history, nature and culture, PHC called everyone to join in the celebration.
Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow, who was present, told reporters that a total of 20 exciting events and activities have being lined up.
The highlights of the event include photo exhibition, music on the hill, rainforest exploration walk, Unesco Biosphere exhibition and night exploration.
And not to be missed are photography workshop, rediscover nature of Entopia, highland nature trail and nature walk.
“PHF2019 is ready to set its mark as a yearly choice festival for all visitors to Penang Hill.
Penang Hill Corporation (PHC) general manager Cheok Lay Leng, meanwhile, also called the people to come and visit the hilltop.
He said Penang Hill is a famous tourist spot which must be visited.
