A THREE-DAY health screening and health talk event will be held at the Life Hope Centre in Jalan Masjid Negeri, from July 28 to July 30.
The Penang English Seventh-day Adventist Church (PESDAC), in collaboration with the Kuala Lumpur Hope On Wheels, and the Penang Adventist Hospital (PAH), will host the event.
It will take place from 6.30pm to 9.30pm on July 28 and 29 and from 8.30am until noon on July 30.
Former Pulau Tikus assemblyman Chris Lee, who was present during a press conference, said the free health checks would be limited to 150 people, on a first-come first-served basis.
“The theme of the event is ‘How to be Rich without Getting Sick’.
“It is important for the people to be aware of the importance of health,” he said at PAH today.
Lee encouraged more people to take advantage of the health screening services provided.
Organising chairman Dr William Teh said a blood donation drive would also be held on July 30.
“We welcome healthy and young donors to donate blood.
“A simple first aid demonstration will also be held as well,” he said.
For more details, interested individuals can contact Dr William at 012-4123108, Mrs Leong at 012-9847001 and Cheong at 012-4303316.
