REAL estate company Hectarworld has marked its second year in Penang with a grand dinner here at G Hotel.
Its managing director Kenny Teoh said the company was happy to expand its wings in Penang.
“Penang leads in many ways, and now with our country slowly but steadily recovering from this devastating global pandemic, we hope to use our skills and expertise to lend a helping hand to boost the state’s economy.
“Today marks our second year in Penang and we are proud to be able to host and organise our first grand dinner. Thank you for making this dinner a success,” Teoh said in his speech on April 7.
The company was unable to organise its grand dinner earlier due to the movement control order and the Covid-19 pandemic.
Some 230 Hectarworld Penang branch members were treated to electrifying K-pop dance performances and a sumptuous meal during the ‘Hectarworld Kick-Start Grand Dinner’. Several Hectarworld members were also rewarded for their contributions and successes during a brief awards presentation ceremony.
State Tourism and Creative Economy Committee chairman Yeoh Soon Hin, who was present on behalf of Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow, welcomed the company’s expansion in Penang.
“The Penang government believes that Hectarworld can work together with the state to grow its tourism and creative economy.
“Property spaces and facilities can support tourism and creative activities. They can be important catalysts for the growth of our tourism, creative economy, and property sector.
Hectarworld has been serving the property market in Australia and Southeast Asia. Currently, the company has about 2,000 members in Malaysia.
