HipHop Tamizha, comprising Adhi and Jeeva, rose to fame with their distinctive blend of Tamil lyrics with urban beats, revolutionising the music trend, and creating a lasting impression among music lovers.

At a press conference in Kuala Lumpur in July, HipHop Tamizha Adhi, remarked that his admiration for Malaysia goes beyond just music, acknowledging its role in fostering Tamil-independent music.

Called HipHop Tamizha World Tour: Return of the Dragon, Adhi said it was only fitting that he kicked off the world tour here in Malaysia, the birthplace of Tamil hip-hop.

“It took three years for Malaysian organisers to bring HipHop Tamizha to Malaysia, and after laying the groundwork, we are finally here,” he said during the press conference in Kuala Lumpur in July this year.

Organised by City Production under the stewardship of K. Rishi and R. Govind, it was learned that more than 70% of tickets have been sold.

Adhi and Jeeva will be joined by a group of talented musicians, including popular singers like Chinnaponnu, Kharisma, Khausik, Vishnu Priya, Mahalingam, and others.

Adhi has composed for several popular South Indian Tamil movies, such as Aranmanai 2, Aranmanai 4, Meesaya Murukku, Aambala, Natpe Thunai, Kathakali, Thani Oruvan, Comali, and other notable films.
