SHANGRI-La Rasa Sayang Penang has extended the celebration for the first 50 couples married there for five more years, from 1973 to 1985 in a grand dinner set to place on Jan 5 next year at the Pelangi Ballroom.
Originally, the hotel had decided to honour couples who got married from 1973 to 1980, but due to an overwhelming response, the top management of one of the finest staycation venues in Penang is including couples married up to 1985 and making this momentous occasion a truly memorable one for them.
The grand dinner, among the many other activities planned given the hotel’s 50th anniversary this year, will also see the married couples enjoy a 3-day, 2-night package with breakfast, afternoon tea and cocktail hours daily.
In a media statement prepared by the hotel, it was mentioned that qualified couples are encouraged to submit proof of their wedding by sharing their wedding invitation card and a photo of their wedding held at Rasa Sayang from 1973 to 1985.
The deadline for submission is on Dec 31, 2023.
