Dr T. Jayabalan urged them to participate in signing a petition that calls for the prime minister to step down.
“There is no other way for the country to forge ahead, given the many troubles plaguing Malaysia at present, like the economic downturn,

crowd.
Jayabalan also shot down a plan by the federal government to bring in some 1.5 million Bangladeshi workers to boost the employment
sector.
“These foreign workers will indirectly cause more social problems besides depriving our local people of jobs,” he said.
Also present were Deputy Chief Minister 1 Datuk Mohd Rashid Hasnon, assemblymembers Datuk Abdul Malik Abu Kassim (Batu
Maung), Dr Afif Bahardin (Seberang Jaya) and Bayan Baru MP Sim Tze Tzin.
Guests present were entertained to lion and dragon dances, cultural performances and songs while enjoying the various local delicacies.
