A COMMUNITY’S identity is its language and culture, which need to be preserved to safeguard the community itself, says state Housing and Environment Committee chairman Datuk Seri Sundarajoo Somu.

Sundarajoo, who is also the Tamil Schools Special Committee chairman, shared this during the ‘Yazlin Maunamozhi’ book launch held at SJK(T) Ramathasar (formerly known as SJK(T) River Road) on March 22.

“Tamil schools in Penang continue to operate smoothly, and they must continue to do so for many years to come.

“In comparison to 15 years ago, the Tamil schools in Penang are in better condition in terms of infrastructure.
