Interactive virtual platform launched for students

THE StudyPENANG has come up with its new initiative called ‘StudyPENANG Virtual Platform’ to enable students to access an in-depth information on higher studies.

 

The platform was officially launched by state Tourism and Creative Economy Commitee chairman Yeoh Soon Hin at The Top Penang today.

 

Yeoh said the ‘StudyPENANG Virtual Platform’ would benefit students and the community at large as well as make Penang even more prominent on the stage of global education.

 

“Today’s launch is the first step in getting further recognition for education in Penang with the support of participating educational institutions.

 

“They are Disted College, Equator Collage, Golden Chef Culinary Academy, Han Chiang University College of Communication, IPK College, Peninsula College Georgetown, RCSI& UCD Malaysia Campus, Sentral College Penang, Stradford International College, TAR UC Penang branch campus, The One Academy Penang, Wawasan Open University & Clinical Hypnotherapy Practitioners Malaysia.

 

“The virtual platform shall serve as Penang’s interactive education hub to explore more opportunities of education at different levels as well as industries.

 

“We shall build an agile and competent talent pool among the youths in Penang,” he added.

 

Yeoh, who is also the StudyPENANG chairman, said the tourism and education industries in Penang are ideally poised to make significant contribution to the state.

 

“StudyPenang was established to further help Penang become a globally renowned centre for education tourism and increase awareness of the importance of the education industry.

 

“And also to leverage on the world class facilities available to train and match the increasing demand for young talents in various industries,” he said.
