PENANG Jabil Circuit Sdn Bhd recently donated 100 laptops to a few bodies to promote Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education.
Out of the 100 laptops, 50 were given to primary schools, 20 to Tech Dome Centre, 15 to Han Chiang School Maker Club (STEM Club) and the remaining 15 to the Community Digital Academy (CDA).
Penang Jabil Circuit Sdn Bhd managing director S.J. Tan said the donation aimed to support underprivileged students in their collaboration with Tech Dome Penang and Han Chiang Makers Club.
“Our contribution will benefit primary schools like SJK (T) Permatang Tinggi, SJK (T) Nibong Tebal, SJK (T) Prai, SJK (T) Mak Mandin, and SJK (T) Ramakrishna, faciltating digital-based education,” he said.
Tan looks forward to future opportunities, expressing his commitment to making a difference.
Tech Dome Penang chief executive officer Khoo Boo Wooi praised Jabil for assisting needy students.
