THE ‘Zero Fake Certificate’ campaign initiated by MASVERSE Edutech Sdn Bhd has a crucial objective: to promote the authenticity of certificates and contribute to the development of social sustainability.
This campaign was launched last month (September) in response to the widespread issue of counterfeit certificates in the country.
SJ Koay, the chief financial officer of MASVERSE Sdn Bhd, explained that the campaign’s primary goal is to establish a robust verification system while increasing public awareness about the usage of counterfeit certificates.
“In just a month, this initiative has garnered significant support and recognition from various educational and corporate institutions.
“Our aim is to eliminate the prevalence of fraudulent diplomas in the market, thereby safeguarding the rights of individuals and institutions involved in the certification and employment processes,” he emphasised during the launch of the ‘Zero Fake Certificate’ campaign at Juru Auto City today.
The event was graced by the presence of Penang Green Council former vice-chairman Datuk Seri Phee Boon Poh, Kulim Industrial Tenants Association president Datuk P’ng Soo Hong, and other distinguished guests.
Furthermore, the occasion witnessed the signing of several Memorandums of Understanding with prominent collaborative partners, such as ReSkills EdTech, Penang Cultural Inheritors Society, UOW Malaysia KDU Penang University College, Sentral College Penang, XueDao Education, and Harfords Education.
In a brief conversation with reporters during the event, Phee emphasised the importance of having genuine qualifications and skills, rather than relying on fake certificates.
He highlighted the significance of possessing strong values and capabilities to drive one’s success.
