CHIEF Minister Chow Kon Yeow and his Batu Kawan parliamentary campaign team continue to engage the people ahead of the polling day on Nov 19.

On the second day of the 15th General Election (GE15) campaign period, Chow and his entourage engaged the people and were warmly welcomed by the constituents in Perai.

He visited the residents at Kampung Manis, Perai, and listened attentively to the grouses raised by the folk.

The issues which were highlighted include flood matters, leaking rooftops, and unoccupied houses.

Those present were Deputy Chief Minister II Prof Dr P. Ramasamy, who is the Perai assemblyman, Seberang Perai City Council (MBSP) councillor David Marshall and the campaign team.

Chow and his team also had a tea break session at Pelita Nasi Kandar before stopping for dinner at Ah Chong Seafood in Chai Leng Park.

The people approached and gathered around Chow and his team, warmly greeting and welcoming them when they arrived.

Chow, who is contesting for the Batu Kawan parliamentary seat, is up against four other candidates which are Wong Chia Zhen (Perikatan Nasional), Tan Lee Huat (Barisan Nasional), Ong Chin Wen (Warisan) and Lee Ah Leong (Parti Rakyat Malaysia).
