STUDENTS of SMJK (C) Sacred Heart in Balik Pulau were overjoyed after getting the opportunity to meet local social media influencer Christinna Kuan and Singaporean sensation Glenn Yong this morning.
Christinna Kuan, also known as Ms Kuan, is renowned for her accomplishments in modelling while Yong is a notable singer and actor from Singapore.
The students were captivated by their presence on stage, and both influencers took time to share their experiences and encouraged the students to not give up on their dreams.
The event included various bonding activities between the influencers and the students.
Caretaker state Youth and Sports Committee chairman Soon Lip Chee, who was present, emphasised the significance of such programmes in inspiring teenagers to dream big.
“We want to inculcate love and joy in the students and bring positive vibes to them
“I hope this platform can motivate them to fulfill their dreams in whatever circumstances,” he said.
A similar programme was also held at SMJK Jit Sin in Bukit Mertajam during noon.
Among those present were Penang Youth Development Corporation (PYDC) general manager Dr Gwee Sai Ling, and PYDC deputy general manager Ng Hooi Ting.
