PENANG International Luxury Collections Week 2018 will be held from Sept 21 until 23rd at Gurney Paragon Mall.
Organised by CHTnetwork, the event serves to promote a luxury lifestyle and premium tour packages, products and services.
Penang, according to the organiser, has great potential to be promoted and marketed as a destination for luxury holidays and experiences.
Penang is undoubtedly providing endless adventure and unrivalled luxury to bring the state to the next level.
State Tourism Development, Heritage, Culture & Arts committee Chairman Yeoh Soon Hin, who officiated the opening ceremony on Sept 21, believes the event will continue to shine in the coming years and consistently play a part to boost tourism in the state.
Yeoh, in his speech, said that Penang is definitely the perfect place to promote luxury tourism packages especially attractions from northern region.
“Through the state exco office, we will come out with strategies to build density, develop clusters and build high value sectors in our tourism.
“Penang also offers a wide selection of luxurious accomodation and experiences. For instance, Spa and wellness vacations, golfing holidays, wedding and honeymoon, duty free shopping sprees and helicopter tours,” said Yeoh.
Also were present President of CHT Network Ch’ng Huck Theng, Executive Director of Hunza Property Bhd Khor Tze Ming, chief executive officer of Penang Global Tourism Ooi Chok Yan and Chairman of Malaysian Association of Hotels (MAH) Penang Chapter Khoo Boo Lim.
