CHIEF Minister Chow Kon Yeow has urged officers in charge at all the polling stations to make sure the spaces are utilised wisely for the benefit of the people.
He said this after visiting the polling station at SJKC Kampung Valdor in Sungai Bakap earlier.
“To all the officers in charge, please make sure the spaces are used properly for the people to have a smooth voting process.
“The process takes a long time, and if voters have to wait in the sun, it is going to be difficult for them, especially senior citizens,” Chow told reporters during a brief press conference at the school.
Joining Chow was Bukit Tambun assemblyman Goh Choon Aik.
