THE Penang Island City Council (MBPP) is in the process of selecting a suitable event management company to organise its annual Hawkers and Traders Day.
According to MBPP councillor Koay Gaik Kee, it is mandatory for interested companies to attend a briefing session organised by the council on Oct 7 prior to applying.
Koay said this step is essential for companies wishing to participate in the application process.
“The application forms will be sent free of charge via email to those who attend both the briefing session and the site visit.
“Companies that do not attend the briefing session as well as the site visit are not eligible to take part in the application process.
“The completed application forms need to be submitted into the price quotation box at the reception counter of MBPP’s Licensing Department in Padang Kota Lama by 11 am on Oct 14, which is the closing date,” said Koay.

Applicants are required to provide relevant documents, including the registration certificate from the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM), and must fill in the Bidder Declaration Form.
