THE Seberang Perai City Council (MBSP) has launched its online survey to get input from the public on the council’s budget for 2023.
MBSP mayor Datuk Azhar Arshad said the survey, which started yesterday, would end on July 3.
“Seberang Perai residents, regardless of age and background, are invited to give their opinions and ideas through the council’s official website at https://www.mbsp.gov.my/.
“MBSP greatly appreciates the time and cooperation of the Seberang Perai residents in providing their views through this online survey.
“Their input will then be analysed to draft the MBSP Budget 2023.
“This is important for us to ensure that the budget is as comprehensive as possible and meet the needs of Seberang Perai residents.
“They can also call MBSP officers at 04-5497460 (Puan Norshazila) and 04-5497848 (Puan Norbaiti) for further inquiries,” Azhar told a press conference after chairing a full council meeting at the MBSP headquarters building in Bandar Perda, Bukit Mertajam today.
On a separate matter, Azhar said MBSP would organise a crow-shooting event soon.
“The event will take place on Aug 13 in central Seberang Perai, Sept 24 (north Seberang Perai) and Oct 15 in south Seberang Perai. The specific locations will be announced soon.
“MBSP also welcomes the public who owns a valid firearm licence to participate in the event.
“We decided to organise such an event due to public complaints that there are too many crows on the mainland.
“At the same time also, we would like to urge the Seberang Perai residents to stop littering and dumping food that can attract crows. This causes more crows to breed,” he added.
