REMEDIAL action will be taken to restore the erosion-hit service centre of Bukit Gelugor MP Ramkarpal Singh.
The MP himself has allocated RM50,000 on April 13 towards the restoration and strengthening of the base of the service centre which is located in Bandar Baru Air Itam, or better known as Farlim.
Paya Terubong assemblyman Yeoh Soon Hin, whose service centre is also in Farlim, contributed RM10,000 towards the fund.
The estimated cost for the project is RM100,000.
A surprise birthday celebration ceremony was organised for Ramkarpal on April 13 by Sri Satya Sai Baba Centre committee members.
