IT is up to the Pakatan Harapan leadership team to decide which party it wants to cooperate with and form a unity government, says state Pakatan Harapan chairman Chow Kon Yeow.
Chow was responding to the media after he was asked to give his personal view about the possibility of a Pakatan Harapan-Barisan Nasional unity government at the federal level.
Chow, who was met at the Penang Legislative Assembly after tabling the Penang 2023 Budget, said none of the coalition or parties were able to obtain a simple majority to form the Federal Government after the 15th General Election (GE15) on Nov 19.
“After the GE15 results were announced, the voters expressed their concerns about the country’s situation.
“I am not able to say anything on a personal level because it is up to the national Harapan leaders to make the announcement,” he said.
