ENTREPRENEURS and the public can now seamlessly interact on a single digital platform called ‘One Click Hub,’ which aims to facilitate safe and transparent business promotions and service delivery.

Available for download via iOS and Android devices, this platform is open to business operators offering services such as photography and videography, catering, graphic design, facials, hair styling, and more.

It will be made available in the platforms mentioned above from Sept 16.

The founder of One Click Hub, 29-year-old Helmy Samsudeen envisions the application providing a sense of security and convenience for entrepreneurs and the public seeking various services.

“We have been hearing a lot of scam cases of late, which has been worrying, especially for those making online purchases or engaging services through the internet.

“This application (One Click Hub) practises transparency by only registering companies that are officially registered with the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM).

“Also, at One Click Hub, we aim to support entrepreneurs who often do not get the limelight due to a lack of marketing skills.

“For instance, there are many talented individual professional photographers here in Penang, and sometimes failing to market themselves properly can hinder their success.

“Through our platform, we aim to make their businesses known to the public. Users will be able to view their portfolios, past works and so on,” Helmy explained in an exclusive interview with Buletin Mutiara at ConnectNow in Jalan Macalister on Sept 4.

Located in the heart of Penang, ConnectNow is a co-working space that allows business operators to rent space on a daily or monthly basis.

When asked if any fee would be charged for using the application, Helmy expressed his hopes to secure financial support from the Penang government, allowing the app to be free for users.

However, if funding is not obtained, a subscription fee may be introduced, though with zero commission charges for entrepreneurs,” he added.

It was learned that Helmy had invested more than RM12,000 in setting up One Click Hub. The application will direct entrepreneurs and the public to different dashboards based on their needs.

During the launch on Aug 26, Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow, who officiated the launching ceremony, praised the application as it aligns with the Penang2030 vision and will play a key role in driving digitalisation within the state.

Helmy also stated that the team at One Click Hub is currently finalising other important works before the application can officially be used from Sept 16 this year.
