MORE than 100 people in Penang have been called up to undergo the Covid-19 test recently, Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow said.

“They have been called up through the contact tracing app. Most of them have been tested negative while some results are still pending,” he said.

Chow said that the Penang government obtains official information on Covid-19 from the Health Ministry and the state Health Department.

“The information can be obtained from their websites,” he told a press conference at the Berjaya George Town Hotel today.

He emphasised the importance of contact tracing, isolation and necessary treatment if needed.

Penang has recorded three more cases today, bringing the cumulative total cases to 125.
