PBIM 2024 running vest unveiled

THE official running vest and finisher T-shirt for each category of the Aspen-Klippa Penang Bridge International Marathon (PBIM) 2024 were unveiled today.

 

State Tourism and Creative Economy Committee chairman Wong Hon Wai, who was present to witness the showcase, expressed his delight with the launch of the apparel.

 

“In collaboration with Brooks, these are not just pieces of clothing; they symbolise the dedication and journey the runners are about to embark on.

“This year, over 20,000 runners from all over the world, will share this special experience, whether it is their first race or they are seasoned marathon veterans.

 

 

“I want to thank our title sponsor, Aspen Klippa, and our partners, namely Teleperformance, Big & Caring Pharmacy, Seiko, Emico, Counterpain, Star Media Group, and Himalaya Sports,”
he said during his speech at the PBIM 2024 fashion show, held at the Klippa shopping centre in Batu Kawan.

 

 

Wong said conquering Southeast Asia’s longest bridge in a full marathon will be an experience to cherish.

 

“It will be an unforgettable experience for participants, who will be able to take in the scenic views along the second Penang Bridge,” he said.

 

The event featured fashion models showcasing PBIM apparel and medals.

 

Among those present were Paragon Vest Sdn Bhd managing director Tiew Cheng Tai, and Emico marketing manager Vincent Tan.
