THE Penang government is still awaiting the date for the three-way meeting on the proposed Kulim Airport.
Penang Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow said the Transport Ministry would arrange the meeting between the ministry, Kedah and Penang to address concerns over the impact of the Kulim Airport on Penang International Airport.
“We will wait for the minister to fix the date. From his message, the first round of the meeting would probably involve the State Secretary and the Chief Secretary of the ministry, where they would go through some preliminary issues,” Chow told a press conference at Universiti Sains Malaysia today.
Chow had previously said that Penang had expressed its concerns in the sincerest manner and has looked at how Penang would be impacted by the proposed Kulim Airport.
