AFTER helming the Penang police force with full dedication for about one and a half years, the state police chief Comm Datuk T. Narenasagaran will finally go into retirement on March 3 this year.
Before signing off, Comm Narenasagaran paid a courtesy call on Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow at the latter’s office in Komtar today.
During the meeting which lasted for almost an hour, Comm Narenasagaran expressed his appreciation and thanked Chow for all the support that he received from the state government during his tenure.
“Thank you for everything. I do appreciate all the support from the state government to the Penang police force.
“At the same time, I did enjoy my stay here in Penang and made a lot of friends,” he added.
Meanwhile, Chow thanked Comm Narenasagaran for his great services in strengthening the Penang police force.
Comm Narenasagaran also presented a memento to Chow at the end of his visit.
Prior to becoming the state police chief on Jan 16 last year, Comm Narenasagaran was the Bukit Aman Management Department (training) deputy director.
