PENANG remains the premier choice for investors seeking opportunities, drawing eager interest from potential stakeholders keen on capitalising within the state’s dynamic landscape.
Lauding Penang’s merits, the chief of China’s Binhu district government Sun Haidong, expressed a keen interest in bolstering investments, highlighting Penang as a prime contender among their favoured destinations for expansion.
“Penang holds significant importance for us, attributed to its good governance and vibrant landscapes. The state is doing very well,” he told Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow today.
Sun, accompanied by 11 delegates comprising Binhu district government officials and C-suite executives at Binhu-headquartered Trensor Co Ltd, extended a courtesy visit to Chow in Komtar.
Chow expressed gratitude to Sun for his commendations on behalf of the state, underscoring Penang’s track record of successfully establishing numerous industrial parks over the years.
InvestPenang manufacturing development head Lee Yoeu Chek provided the delegates with an overview of Penang’s thriving investment ecosystem. With him was InvestPenang manufacturing development lead William Chen.
Those present include Binhu district government deputy director Jiang Weiwei, Liyuan Economic Development Zone chief Wang Zijian, Binhu district government Bureau of Commerce director Wang Wenjun, Binhu district government Scientific Innovation Centre director Zhou Tianyi, Hudai town government chief Yang Zhiqing, and Liyuan Economic Development Zone Investment Promotion Bureau director Chen Qinyang.
Also present were Wuxi Binhu Urban Construction Development Group Co Ltd chairman Gu Hong, Trensor Co Ltd chairman Zhou Jingxun, Trensor Co Ltd director Zhou Wenbo, Trensor Co Ltd vice-president and director Zhao Haiying, and Trensor Co Ltd administrative manager Hu Kaiyue.
