“Let us further strengthen our bonds of friendship and cooperation as we work together to achieve our common goals,” he said in his speech during the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China at G Hotel today.

Chow emphasised the importance of this cooperation in benefiting not only Penang but also other northern states.

“We look forward to continuing collaborations with China in fields such as renewable energy, smart city initiatives, and innovation.

“We can create a future where both societies thrive in harmony with the environment while promoting economic progress and social inclusivity.

“Penang’s vision (Penang2030) of becoming a Family-Focused, Green, and Smart State by 2030 aligns with China’s strides in sustainable development and technological advancement,” said Chow.
