The wellness tourism sector has gained momentum in Penang as more people recognize the value of prioritising their health.
State Tourism and Creative Economy Committee chairman Yeoh Soon Hin said the state government was committed to advancing the wellness industry.
“We live in a stressful environment; therefore, we need to be alert of our health. We should not sacrifice our health but strive to practise a healthy lifestyle,” he said in his speech during the opening of the Wellness D’Tox branch at Bayan Lepas.
Yeoh said he was delighted with the opening of the new branch of Wellness D’Tox.
“It is a good initiative to provide a holistic health and wellness centre in the state,” he added.
Wellness D’Tox founder and chief executive officer Vivian Tan said she looked forward to the success of Wellness D’Tox.
