WITH only a few more days before the polling day on Aug 12, the Pakatan Harapan (PH) and Barisan Nasional (BN) election machinery are urged to focus more on ‘critical constituencies’.

Penang PH chairman Chow Kon Yeow, who is also the caretaker Chief Minister, said this is important to woo voters, especially the fence sitters.

Chow said it is important to woo voters, especially the fence sitters.

“Critical constituencies are those crucial seats where the outcome could swing either way, resulting in either a narrow triumph or a similarly slender defeat.

With only three more days before polling day on Aug 12, PH and BN will intensify efforts through election campaigns.

“We want to have a comfortable win with more than 30 seats to establish a unity government at the state level,” Chow said in his speech during a ceramah at Kampung Benggali in Bagan Dalam tonight.

Also present were Bagan MP Lim Guan Eng and Bagan Dalam PH candidate Kumaran Krishnan.

Meanwhile, Kumaran said he is not new in Bagan Dalam as he used to be a Seberang Perai City Council (MBSP) councillor for two years.

Kumaran said he is not new in Bagan Dalam as he used to be a MBSP councillor for two years.

“I was also born and raised here. I also used to serve as an assistant for YB Lim in the Bagan parliamentary constituency.

“So, this constituency is not new to me and I know all the issues faced by the constituents here.

“Rest assured, if elected as an elected representative for Bagan Dalam, I will do my best to resolve all the issues here,” he said.
