PENANG Property Summit (PPS) 2019, co-organised by the Penang State Housing Committee and Penevents Sdn Bhd with a theme “Celebrating a vibrant property sector in our ‘New’ Malaysia”, will be held on Jan 5 & 6 next year at Spice Arena, Penang for the fifth consecutive year.
State Housing, Local Government, Town and Country Planning Committee chairman Jagdeep Singh said given the success of previous PPS 2015 and 2016, next year’s event will be much anticipated by the principal stakeholders of the property industry.
He added that the developers in particular and also the general public have often looked upon the event as the showcase of the best that the industry has to offer.
During the press conference, Jagdeep announced that Minister of Housing and Local Government Zuraida Kamaruddin has agreed to attend the first day of the Expo.
“Given the focus on the new National Housing Policy, in particular, the focus on affordable housing, much is expected from the presentation from the minister,” Jagdeep said today.
In fact, PPS has also proved to be a platform to enable property stakeholders and the Penang State Government to address numerous issues facing the property industry in Penang.
Among the programmes for the Expo are trade events, a seminar for house buyers, exciting topics for public talks such as Feng Shui and ways to secure financing for house purchases.
Over the two-day summit, an estimated 1,000 invitees are expected to turn up for the various presentations, forums and talks.
