PUPILS from seven primary schools in Penang had a fun time learning and creating their own lanterns using the 3D pens during a workshop held recently.
The schools that took part were SJKC Kong Min Cawangan 2, SJKC Kampung Valdor, SJKC Wen Khai, SJKC Permatang Tinggi, SJKC Chung Shan, SK Sungai Acheh and SJKC Convent Datuk Keramat.
The Chinese New Year 2022 Virtual Workshop was held on Feb 8, 12, 14 and 15.
In a media statement, Tech Dome Penang said the objective of the workshop was to introduce 3D art to the young learners.
“We want the pupils to explore and expand their creativity using the 3D pen.
“We thank the sponsors – Analog Devices, and state assemblymen Yeoh Soon Hin, Jagdeep Singh Deo, Datuk Abdul Halim Hussain and Lee Khai Loon – for their support,” the statement read.
