State Youth and Sports Committee chairman Soon Lip Chee called out to youths aged 18 to 36 to take up the challenge and unleash their creativity in filmmaking.
“The main objective of the competition is to nurture young talents in the creative industry. We want to produce and develop quality filmmakers in Penang.

“The state government hopes to hone the directorial skills of youngsters in Penang,” Soon told a press conference in Komtar today.
Soon also said that the top ten movies which are shortlisted would be shown at the cinema during the prize-giving ceremony.
