HUNDREDS of local rock fans thronged the Esplanade ground despite the wet weather to watch their local rock stars take the stage and belt out their favourite numbers.
Dubbed the ‘Rockmania Concert 2019’, it was supported by performers like Datuk David Arumugam, Datuk Nash & Lefthanded, Mus XPDC Kita Peng Yu, Lan Solo & X Band, Yabang & Harry Khalifah, Floor 88, Santesh, Marsha Milan, Havoc Brothers, Shawn Lee, Paladin and Bori Omara.
The show, which was delayed due to a technical problem, was also attended by Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow on Oct 19.
Earlier, the chief minister had an interview session with Mutiara FM followed by a closed door sharing session with some top officials of the Communication and Multimedia Ministry and MBPP mayor Datuk Yew Tung Siang.
