LEADING digital marketing and website development company, Salt Tech Solutions Sdn Bhd, celebrated the opening of its office at Bishop Street in George Town here today in a grand manner.
Founded in December 2020, the company that also has a branch in Kuala Lumpur, offers businesses in Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, the United States of America and United Kingdom.
State Entrepreneurial Development, Trade and Industry Committee chairman Datuk Abdul Halim Hussain, who officiated the ceremony, expressed his excitement over Salt Tech’s core objective of bringing together great solutions to accelerating digitalisation to greater heights for businesses and the education sector.
“With the increasing demand for online education and training, there’s a need for more interactive solutions beyond just having a video call with your students.
“Currently, while Zoom is widely used as a platform for online meetings, it lacks the ability to be more interactive during class sessions.
“I believe Salt Tech would plug in the missing gaps during online classes.
“They provide trainers and trainees with a platform to deliver engaging content through their proprietary virtual classroom solution called Edulive, which allows interaction between trainers and trainees through the combination of video calls and interactive whiteboards.
“I am confident that this company would be able to help trainers and trainees to communicate better and faster with each other, progressing towards a higher quality of education even when it is done online.
“This is also in line with our state government’s vision to accelerate digitalisation and innovation to support the economic growth of our state and country.
“It is crucial that we continue to invest in technology to ensure that we stay ahead of the curve,” Abdul Halim said during his speech.
Salt Tech Solutions chief executive officer Nhu Nguyen said with the support of her hardworking employees, she aims to reach more trainers and trainees as well as businesses that need assistance in transforming themselves digitally.
“We are well aware of the current economic difficulties, and this will mean that we need to get extra creative and aggressive in our sales and marketing methods.
“We have also managed hybrid events by developing virtual event systems and business matching for event companies as well as serving major government systems.
“We will be launching several platforms this year, and with these platforms, we hope to create a business and social matching for potential trainers and trainees, which is to encourage everyone to use their knowledge to teach and share with others, even in a remote setting,” she said.
Guests at the ceremony were then entertained by lion dance performances.
