Sayangi Malaysiaku Fun Walk to strengthen relationship

‌It is hope that Sayangi Malaysia Fun Walk 2018 will further strengthen relationship of Balik Pulau residents says Deputy Minister for Tourism, Arts and Culture Muhammad Bakthiar Wan Chik.

Social activities like ‘gotong royong’fun run, and walk will continue to improve the relationship of Balik Pulau residents following Vision 2030 as outlined by Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow recently.

He said this on Oct 14, when officiating the Sayangi Malaysia Funwalk 2018 at White Resort at Kampung Genting in Balik Pulau.

Joining him were assemblymember for Pulau Betong, Mohd Tuah Ismail.

Some 700 residents from the Balik Pulau community took part in the 5km event, which started from White Resort in Kampung Genting.

On a related matter Bakthiar said a Pesta Boria will be held from December 7 to 9, at Polyteknik Balik Pulau.

“You and your family members are all welcomed to join the event,” Bakthiar, who is also Balik Pulau MP told the participants present.

He also mentioned the Kuala Lumpur Batik Funwalk to be held on Nov 4.
” Come to enjoy similar events of this nature, in the spirit of ‘Sayangi Malaysia Ku’, he commented.

Meanwhile, Mohd Tuah hope
social and recreational activities like Sayangi Malaysia Fun Walk will continue to be organise for residents in the Balik Pulau community.
